  • What if I lose my phone? Since your passes are linked to your Contact or Google account, they should automatically sync when you sign into a new device.
  • Can I share my coupons? This depends on the specific business's policy. Some coupons are single-use and linked to your specific ID.

  • Who manages the rewards? You are responsible for the content, reward fulfillment, and customer service related to your specific cards.

How to Issue Stamps & Points

As a merchant, you are the primary point of contact for your customers' loyalty journey. You can update customer passes using the following methods:

  • Scanning QR Codes: Use the Merchant App to scan the QR code displayed on the customer's Apple or Google Wallet pass.
  • Manual Entry: If a camera is unavailable, you can manually enter the customer’s unique ID or phone number to find their profile.
  • Adding Points: Simply enter the value of the transaction or the number of stamps to be added, and the customer’s pass will update in real-time.

Merchant Best Practices

  • Verify Identity: Before redeeming a high-value reward or coupon, ensure the pass belongs to the customer to prevent misuse.
  • Internet Connectivity: Ensure your merchant device is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data. Points issued while offline may delay the update on the customer’s device.
  • Staff Training: Ensure all team members know how to access the Merchant App and understand the specific logic of your loyalty program (e.g., "1 Stamp per 10 KWD spent").

Merchant FAQ

  • What if a customer’s pass doesn't update? Check your Merchant App history to see if the transaction was successful. If it was, the customer may need to refresh their Apple/Google Wallet or check their internet connection.
  • Can I reverse an accidental stamp? Yes. Within the Merchant App, you can view recent transaction history and void or adjust points if an error was made during entry.
  • How do I handle expired coupons? The Clix Wallet platform automatically manages expiration dates based on your settings. If a coupon is expired, the Merchant App will show an "Invalid" or "Expired" alert upon scanning.
